You know it's Christmas at my house when the Fisher Price Nativity falls under basilisk attack.
We saw Santa at the mall last week. The line was fairly short and Santa was good. He had one seriously huge chair. He asked Jack to keep the spirit of Christmas alive in his heart. *awww*
The next day, Jack's kindergarten class sang for the PTA meeting with 3 other kindergarten classes. Jack was in the front row, center. He looked horrible. In fact, he looked so dreadful that I thought for certain he had caught the flu from Sam. I thought he must be sick, he was barely singing and looked like he would pass out at any moment. Well, he made it through and as his class filed past my row, Jack seemed much improved. He smiled and waved at me and even blew kisses. Apparently not sick, after all, it must have been stage fright. Great. He's got his first dance recital in three weeks. Thankfully, he's not in the front row for that one.
Our favorite Christmas item this week: wrapping paper tube swords.
